The signing of a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan contributes to the establishment of a stable and lasting peace in the region, the Foreign Affairs Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan said at a joint briefing with the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Ian Borg, AzVision.az reports citing Armenian media.
Mirzoyan added that unblocking transport communications in the region is also an important component of peace.
“We are not only ready, but also interested in restoring transport links. In particular, railway links with Azerbaijan. Of course, regulation will be mutual and under the principle of equality,” he said.
